Flunixin meglumine, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory agent of a fenamate group, has a pronounced anti-inflammatory, analgesic and antipyretic effect.
The mechanism of action of flunixin meglumine is based on the ability to suppress the production of cyclooxygenases (COX-1 and COX-2), thereby inhibiting the synthesis of prostaglandins E2, inflammatory mediators, under the influence of which the synthesis of inflammatory prostaglandins occurs, causing inflammation, swelling and pain.
Silver (presented as colloidal silver) has a wide spectrum of antimicrobial activity against gram-negative (Escherichia coli, Klebsiella spp., Salmonella spp., Proteus spp., Campylobacter spp., Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Bordetella spp., Pasteurella spp., Haemophilus spp., Fusobacterium necrophorum) and gram-positive bacteria (Streptococcus spp., Enterococcus faecalis, Staphylococcus spp., including those producing beta-lactamase, Clostridium spp.), and chlamydia. Some fungi are sensitive to silver (Candida spp., Aspergillus spp.).
The mechanism of the anti-inflammatory action of silver is based on the ability to precipitate proteins on the surface of the damaged mucosa with the formation of a protective film. This helps to reduce the sensitivity of mucous membranes and activates vasoconstriction, which leads to inhibition of inflammatory reactions.
The mechanism of the antimicrobial action of silver is due to the ability to bind to the DNA of bacteria, which prevents their reproduction on the mucous membranes.

Before using the drug, it is necessary to sanitize the external genital organs and the root of the tail of the animal. If necessary, free the uterine cavity from inflammatory exudate.
