Plastic syringes of 6 cm3.
Active ingredients: praziquantel 14%, ivermectin 2%.
Praziquantel is a compound of a pyrazinoisoquinoline group, active against larval and mature stages of development of nematodes (Delafondia vulgaris, Alfortia edentatus, Strongylus equinus, Trichonema spp., Parascaris equorum, Oxyuris equi, Strongyloides westeri, Parafilaria multipapillosa, Setaria equina, Habronema spp., Drascheia megastoma) and cestodes (Anoplocephala spp., Paranoplocephala mamillana).

Ivermectin is a macrocyclic lactone with a wide spectrum of antiparasitic activity, including against larval and mature stages of nematode development (Delafondia vulgaris, Alfortia edentatus, Strongylus equinus, Trichonema spp., Parascaris equorum, Oxyuris equi, Strongyloides westeri, Parafilaria multipapillosa, Setaria equina, Habronema spp., Drascheia megastoma), larval stages of development of botflies (Gastrophilus spp., Rhinoestrus purpureus).
Prazimax is used for therapeutic and prophylactic purposes in horses with nematodes (delafondiosis, alfortiosis, strongylosis, trichonematosis, parascariasis, oxyurosis, strong iloidosis, parafilariasis, setariosis, habronematosis, drasciosis, etc.), cestodoea (anoplocephalidosis), associative invasions (polyinvasions) caused by nematodes, cestodes and larvae of the gastrointestinal and nasopharyngeal botflies.
Prazimax is administered to horses once orally at a dose of 1 cm3/100 kg of animal weight.

The suspension is squeezed onto the root of the tongue using a dispenser, the cannula of which is inserted into the interdental space of the oral cavity and then the animal's head is raised for a few seconds.

Therapeutic and prophylactic treatments for horses with mono- and polyinvasions are carried out 3 times a year (under the control of ovo- and larvoscopy) according to the recommended scheme:

- the first treatment is performed 2 weeks prior to pasture of animals on a pasture. The treatment is aimed at cleaning the body of horses from intestinal helminths and larvae of II and III stages of botflies;

- the second treatment is performed 3 months after the first treatment. The treatment is aimed at cleaning the body of horses from intestinal helminths (juvenile and mature individuals of intestinal nematodes and anoplocephalus, larvae of the first stage of botflies);

- the third treatment is performed 2 weeks before setting up for stall keeping. The treatment is aimed at cleaning the body of horses from intestinal helminths (juvenile and mature specimens of intestinal nematodes and anoplocephalus) and larvae of stages I and II of botflies.
In case of an overdose, the animal may experience increased salivation, increased defecation and urination, and impaired coordination of movements.
If allergic reactions occur, the drug administration should be stopped and antihistamines and calcium-containing drugs prescribed.

The use of the drug is contraindicated in patients with infectious diseases and weakened animals, in-foal mares 3 days before giving birth.

Do not use Prazimax simultaneously with other antiparasitic drugs.
